I remember having one heater in the living room during the cold winter months. You would get ready for bed in front of it and run like crazy to a freezing cold bed that had a 100 lbs of quilts on it. We slept three to a bed most of the time. If you were the one in the middle, you sometimes actually got hot. Every time someone wanted to turn over all three of you had to turn over at the same time. When it was time to get up, you ran like crazy to get the heater in the living room.
